Ina Gardner is writer of numerous well-known American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. It began in 2002. Ina began her writing career by writing nuclear energy policies and budgets of the White House. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon stopped her interest. Then she bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. It took her 18 years to make the business extremely profitable prior to selling it before acquiring a pen to write her first book. Other cookbooks followed, as were magazine articles. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a hit. Also, Ina sells products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and other equipment. Ina is a self-taught cook who has never gone to a cooking academy and has never been in the kitchen. Ina is well-known for her easy method of cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment. Her most popular recipes include Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
