Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. More than 20 albums have been made available by her. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk and alternative rock. However, they also have influences from hip hop, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to establish her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September, 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father is of Italian heritage, while her mother comes from Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and performed 32 Flavors.
