Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She then acted in numerous Broadway productions before she became an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. It was a huge hit and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently Tapping has also emerged as the most sought-after director for popular television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. She settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
