Coleman is Lancashire-born. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head girl and scored straight A's in her A-levels. As she discussed her Emmerdale character she expressed her regret at having not attended a university. Coleman joined a theater company, In Yer Space while in school. The company performed in the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. It also received an enthusiastic reception. Coleman was awarded the award with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman was given the part as Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while auditioning in drama schools in 2005. Coleman was nominated twice for Awards in the year 2007. In the British Soap Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer. Also, in the National Television Awards she was awarded the title of The Most Popular Newcomer. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was awarded an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat has decided to put her in the role since she seemed to have the best chemistry with Smith. She also spoke quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the field for more than 30 years and is associated in numerous TV and film projects. She has however had a greater presence on television rather than in movies. Eva is best known for her roles on the show Doctor. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. The actress was nominated 2 "Daytime Emmys" in the first role as well as having the the opportunity to express her musical creativity. Eva is an entrepreneur, and also an actress. She has been married three times and has a daughter with her second spouse.
