Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). There is no information on whether there were any siblings. Luciana graduated from a high school in the local area in 1955. She then went on to study naval engineering in Milan at the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana was the only female of her class was the first complete her studies. After two years of modeling, she was offered the role of Three Coins in the Fountain. It was her first role. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her first wife. After their wedding in 1960 they produced a film together called Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received custody of the children following the divorce. They had a baby boy known as Charles which was born June of 1961. Luciana was married to Tony Athony. They dated between 1962-1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer who was influenced by Luciana's work on the movie Green Slime. Based on this, he produced and created his own Spaghetti Western hybrid that became famous.
