Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis Missouri, which is where she was employed by The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with the highest distinction) in Theatre and Communication. In Los Angeles, Kelly quickly became active in the theater world. She has performed and choreographed more than two dozen shows. Kelly started landing movie and television roles after she learned improvisation, and later became a Theatre West company member. Kelly's distinctive voice and petite size have enabled her to portray a range of different character types. She is known for her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the role as the evil Samara In The Ring 2 but is also more commonly recognized for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was the Series Regular of TV Land's The Exes which was a comedy that featured a lawyer during the day and a party-goer at night. The actress starred from 2011 to 2015. Kelly also played a role as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been lent by her singing voice to several animated shows like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Her most recent role was as a dim but lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC's Superstore, a cult comedy Superstore. Her private life is that is quite quiet, with a husband and her two kids. She loves to sew as well as write, and she also volunteers in schools.
